This SUP board (Stand Up Paddle) experience combine surfing and boating activities into one! It can be performed in any place as long as there's water. It also does not require the difficult balance skills of surfing, nor does it need to be able to swim. It is simple and easy to use, and it is a new option for exploring Orchid Island.

Different from the SUP experience on the main island of Taiwan, the crystal clear glass sea will satisfy your body and mind! Professional coaches and equipment are available for everyone from 6 to 65 years old. Pets can also have fun together. It is an ocean experience that cannot be missed when visiting Orchid Island.
The Experience
Activity Fee//
General Session: NT$1,200 for one person one board / NT$1,800 Two people share one board
Sunrise Session: NT$1,700 for one person one board / NT$2,100 for two people share one board
For Children: NT$300 per board if the child is under 5kg, NT$500 per board if the child is over 5kg. One person can only bring one child on one board.
Guest Discount: Tenants of DAD's Backpackers enjoy a discount of 10% OFF per board (identity must be checked at the on-site registration. If you are not a guest, please do not choose the guest discount plan)
Fee Details//
Activity equipment: SUP paddle board, tail fin, one paddle per board, life jacket, foot rope
Basic teaching: equipment use, safety up and down the board, control the direction, standing, braking, self-rescue
Taking photos with the group: Use a Gopro camera to shoot the whole process, and provide the original photo file within 3 days
Toilet facilities: The store provides outdoor and indoor showers spaces, hair dryers, etc.
Activity insurance: Public Accident Liability Insurance by Union Insurance Co. Ltd.

Regular Session: 08:00 (on holidays only) / 10:00 / 14:00 / 16:00
Sunrise Session: 04:30 – 05:00, adjusted according to each month's sunrise time.
Activity Duration: about 70-80 minutes including gathering, teaching and practical operation.

Itinerary
- Meet at DADplus+ Stand Up Paddle Experience Store 5 minutes in advance (or meet at the event location upon further notice)
- Distribute equipment and conduct preliminary teaching, including descriptions of equipment use, safe upper and lower boards, direction control, standing, braking, self-rescue and other skills
- Go to the launching point together and practice in the water
- Free practice time, familiarizes the use of equipment
- During the photo time, the coach will use the Gopro to take photos with you (*gift)
- Float in the middle of the sea, enjoy the ocean

How to Use
- Voucher will be sent via email. Please show your e-voucher at designated location.
Purchase Notice
It is recommended to choose the a one person one board experience. If there are children over 6 years old, you need to choose a two person share one board (one parent with one child)
Sunrise tours will be suspended during the flying fish season from March to late May
Children need to bring their own life jackets. If the equipment is damaged, relevant fees will need to be paid
The latest change or cancellation of the activity is before 9:00 the night before the activity day.
Please wear comfortable clothes, T-shirt, or swimsuit or jellyfish suit to participate in the activity. Rain does not affect the activity. However, force majeure factors such as excessive wind and rain, strong wind and waves, typhoon, etc., might affect the activity and will be notified by the store after confirming the weather.
Anyone aged 6-65 can participate in this activity. Children are advised to bring their own amphibious shoes. This activity is held in open water. Pregnant women or those with cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, asthma, or epilepsy are not recommended to participate. If it is found that they do not meet the qualifications for participation, he/she will not be allow to participate and refund will not be given.
Important Booking Information
- The order voucher only represents the creation of the order. No deposit will be charged for direct booking on the official website. The payment can either be in cash or transfer on the day of the activity during the re-registration. If the itinerary is booked with the homestay, please contact the homestay that assists with the booking for payment details.
- Those who choose the discount plan for guests staying at Ahdu Backpacker Inn need to confirm their identity during the re-registration time. If they are not guests, they cannot use this discount, and will use the original price.
For general session, each session must have at least two boards booked to form a group. For sunrise session, each session must have at least three boards booked to form a group. If not, a reschedule or cancellation notification will be sent.
Rain does not affect the activity. For force majeure factors such as excessive wind and rain, strong wind and waves, typhoon, etc., it will be decided by the store after confirming the weather, at the latest 2 hours before the activity starts, and will be notified by phone. Please keep your mobile phone open or contact us directly.
